Mrs. Esther Lugoe- Mengi is the Co-Founder and Lead Cyber security Specialist for Serensic Africa a company that specializes in cyber security and digital forensics. She was named one of the Top 50 women in cyber security in Africa in 2019. Forbes named her one of the 30 most promising young entrepreneurs in Africa 2017. She has worked for the United Nations Headquarters in Africa (UNON) and UNDP Somalia before starting her company. She is also a member and vice chair of the RAFIC (a world bank project that aim to transform DIT into an IT center of excellence) advisory Board.
Her education background is on Information Systems and technology with a concentration in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics from United States International University (USIU) along with certifications such as a Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Certified Forensics Investigator (CFPI), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and others. She is an innovator, developer and a cybersecurity pioneer. She has recently developed a Web security App named ASKARI. ASKARI is a powerful Web security app that protects websites (web application) from hackers, attacks and other threats.
