Kharim Mchatta is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over half a decade of experience in digital forensics, penetration testing, cyber resilience, and cybersecurity education. He is the founder of H4K-IT, a pioneering cybersecurity community based in Tanzania dedicated to capacity building, digital empowerment, and talent development across Africa.
With a strong foundation in both technical and strategic aspects of cybersecurity, Kharim has led numerous initiatives aimed at reducing the skills gap in the cybersecurity space. He has trained hundreds of students and professionals through bootcamps, simulations, and Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions, and has been instrumental in mentoring emerging talent, especially women and youth.
Kharim is also a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and an EC-Council Certified Instructor (CEI), recognized for his practical teaching approach and ability to simplify complex cybersecurity concepts. His work has contributed to national programs, curriculum development, and public-private partnerships designed to promote digital safety and innovation.
