Michelle is a financial services professional with experience in insurance, digital payments, and financial infrastructure. She has worked with fintechs and insurers to expand digital payment adoption, improve cross-border transactions, and develop new financial products across African markets.
With a dynamic career spanning customer success, partnership engagement, and operational leadership in both the tech and social impact sectors, Michelle brings a wealth of experience in driving growth, building strategic relationships, and delivering results that matter.
Michelle is passionate about youth empowerment, financial inclusion, and community-led development. She is also a writer, speaker, and mentor who enjoys sharing stories that inspire and activate change. Her previous work includes leadership roles with the Mastercard Foundation Alumni Network, Curacel, and Milhan Access Capital, as well as volunteering with youth initiatives like Strathmore’s Macheo Program and the YALI Nairobi Chapter.
Outside of work, Michelle loves swimming, nature trails, and traveling to experience different cultures and cuisines. She’s also an enthusiast of emerging technologies and enjoys exploring how innovation can shape a more inclusive future.
