Welcome to 2026

Wait… it’s already 2026?! 👀

Yep. We’re just as shocked as you are.

Hey change-makers, a new year always means one thing: pausing for a moment to look back at how far we’ve come and getting excited about what’s next.

A quick rewind to 2025 🎬

Last year was big.

African Child Projects spent 2025 doing what we do best: closing the digital skills gap and opening doors. From career days to hands-on training, we worked with Tanzanian youth, women, People with Disabilities (PWDs), and underserved communities to make digital skills more accessible, practical, and empowering.

Through online and in-person programs and alongside like-minded partners, we helped learners build real-world tech skills and not just theory. One of our proudest wins? Expanding access to digital learning for women, young people and rural communities who’ve been left out for far too long.

We see the grit, the courage, and the determination of people who refuse to let circumstances define them, change-makers – and we’re here to back you.

Community is the real power 🔌

Here’s the big one for 2026: hold us accountable.

This year, we’re focused on building Centers of Excellence to support deeper, hands-on learning in CCNA, Cybersecurity, and AI. Think stronger practical skills, expert-led communities and learning that actually prepares people for what’s happening in the real world.

Nothing we do happens alone. Our impact is powered by instructors, community orgs, public and private institutions, tech advocates and most importantly, learners. Together, we’re creating spaces where curiosity is encouraged, talent is nurtured and digital opportunity feels possible.

What we’re carrying into 2026 🚀

African Child Projects will keep supporting youth, women, children, and PWDs with:

  • Practical digital skills
  • Confidence to show up and be seen
  • Platforms to showcase what they can do

From grassroots communities to broader ecosystems, we’re committed to strengthening what already exists, amplifying voices, especially PWDs and building inclusive, sustainable pathways into the digital world.

💬 To our learners & supporters

To every change-maker who logged in, showed up, asked questions and kept going, we see you. We’re proud of you.

To our partners, mentors, and supporters, thank you for believing in this work. Your support helps us turn access into impact.

In a fast-moving digital world, digital skills aren’t optional. And we don’t just say “Your Path to Digital Excellence starts here” we prove it in every training, every event and every opportunity we create in 2026.

Let’s make learning fun, meaningful and different this year ✨

2026: The Year of Meaningful Work

As we step into 2026, African Child Projects invites change-makers, NGOs and digital inclusion organisations to collaborate with us. There are passionate individuals at the local level who want to be part of digital transformation but face barriers beyond their control.

Standing with them isn’t optional. It’s our responsibility.

African Child Academy wishes our learners, families, instructors, and supporters a year full of growth, confidence and opportunity. May your digital journeys be full of breakthroughs, connections and empowerment.

Let’s make real impact together, not just this year, but for the foreseeable future. 💛
